Cassandra grew up and schooled in Canberra. She commenced a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws at the Australian National University in Canberra. She completed her Arts degree at Australian National University, and finished her Law degree at the University of Newcastle.
Cassandra undertook her Articles of Clerkship with Michael Whelan & Associates in 1998, and was admitted to practice law in April 1999. She continued employment as a solicitor with Michael Whelan & Associates until December 2001. From December 2001 to December 2004, Cassandra operated a private practice in Katherine working in a variety of fields of law.
In December 2004, Cassandra joined Morgan Buckley with a view to developing her commercial experience.

Cassandra undertook her Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws at the Australian National University in Canberra before completing her Law degree at the University of Newcastle.
Cassandra came to the Northern Territory in 1998, and was employed as an articled clerk in a small law firm in Katherine before being admitted to practice law in April 1999. She continued employment as a solicitor with Michael Whelan & Associates in Katherine until December 2001.
From December 2001 Cassandra operated her own private practice in Katherine working in a variety of fields of law. She was also the Principal Solicitor for the Katherine Womens Information and Legal Service from December 2001 to March 2003. Her practice was a strong presence in the Katherine legal market and she represented a large number of local businesses and business people. She also acted for the NT Government in a wide range of matters, and she carried out agency work for local and interstate law firms. Cassandra conducting a busy conveyancing practice, and was involved in many key property and station transactions in the Katherine area, and also many key business sales. Cassandra conducted the first insurance litigation case in the Federal Court to arise out of the 1998 Katherine flood with an interstate Queens Counsel.
In December 2004, Cassandra joined Morgan Buckley with a view to developing her commercial experience. She became a partner of Morgan Buckley in May 2008. With Morgan Buckley, and now Cridlands MB, Cassandra is focussing on commercial property transactions, including some commercial litigation, property developments and leasing. She is also continuing a small practice in other non-commercial areas such as probate and wills and family law.
